Hearthstone's Season 8 has arrived, bringing exciting changes to Battlegrounds! This update introduces new heroes, minions, cards, and a revamped system sure to thrill veteran players. Let's explore the key additions.

Trinkets: The New Power-Ups

The core gameplay mechanic shift is the introduction of Trinkets. These power-ups, available in Lesser (56) and Greater (60) varieties, offer strategic advantages. Players will encounter four Trinket options on turns 6 and 9, with the choices influenced by their hero and current board state. This ensures diverse and engaging options for all strategies, whether you're focused on Elementals, Dragons, or Murlocs.

Marin the Manager: A New Hero

Meet Marin the Manager, the newest addition to the Hearthstone Battlegrounds roster. Marin's unique ability allows players to acquire a Trinket a turn earlier than usual, providing a significant strategic edge.

Minions, Spells, and Cards: A Roster Refresh

Season 8 sees a significant minion refresh. While 41 minions are leaving the game, 22 fan favorites return, joined by 27 brand-new minions and 2 exciting Tavern spells.

Four new cards add further depth to gameplay:

• Free Travel Winner (Tier 2): A 2/2 minion that disappears after combat, rewarding you with a Triple Reward.
• Inspiring Underdog (Tier 4): Boosts your lower-tier minions.
• Lucky Egg (Tier 5): Transforms into a Golden Tier 3 minion.
• Sun Screener (Tier 6): A 10/1 minion granting Divine Shield to your three leftmost minions and your opponent's.

Marin Resort's Treasure Hunt Event

From August 27th to September 17th, participate in the Marin Resort's Treasure Hunt event. Complete Event Quests to earn 14 packs, including those from the Perils in Paradise and Whizbang's Workshop expansions.
