Shovel Knight Pocket Dungeon is leaving Netflix Games. Developer Yacht Club Games announced the news, stating they are exploring other distribution options. The game will remain available on Steam, Switch, and PlayStation 4.

While disappointing for Netflix subscribers who played the game through the service, Yacht Club Games confirmed they're investigating further avenues for distribution. A standalone mobile release is a strong possibility, though a precise timeframe remains uncertain.

The departure of Shovel Knight Pocket Dungeon highlights a key risk inherent in subscription gaming services: limited ownership and reliance on developers for continued access.
