Reviving Teammates in R.E.P.O.: A Guide

Playing games with friends can elevate the experience to new heights. However, even in a challenging game like *R.E.P.O.*, where the monsters pose a formidable threat, there's always a chance someone in your squad might become the weak link. Fortunately, *R.E.P.O.* offers mechanics that allow squad members to take turns needing help, making teamwork crucial. Here's how you can revive your teammates in *R.E.P.O.* after they've been taken down.

What To Do If a Teammate Dies in R.E.P.O.

When you start a round in *R.E.P.O.*, your health bar is set at 100. You can take damage from monsters or even from items like Human Grenades. To regain health, you can use Health Packs found at the Service Station. Additionally, teammates can share health by interacting with each other's health bars—a feature that could enrich many other games as well, but that's a topic for another time.

Despite these health management options, the monsters in *R.E.P.O.* can sometimes overpower your squad, leading to a teammate's demise. When this happens, you have two choices: wait for the inevitable or take action. After a teammate dies, their head falls to the ground, which you can then pick up. Keep an eye on where your ally falls or check the map, which marks the head's location with a small icon matching the color of their character. Remember, finding the head is just the first step.

Where To Revive Teammates in R.E.P.O.

Once you have the head in your inventory, head to the extraction point. Place the head there, and if you've met the round's loot requirement (visible at the top right of your screen), your teammate will respawn with 1 HP. To ensure they're not a liability, they can gain additional health by entering the truck, and then it's back to business as usual. However, if retrieving the head isn't feasible, there's another way to bring your teammates back.

Starting a new round will also revive dead players, similar to *Call of Duty* Zombies. This method, though less efficient since you'll be at a disadvantage for the rest of the round, can be beneficial. It gives newer players a chance to observe and learn from veterans, avoiding high-pressure situations that could hinder their performance.

And that's how you revive teammates in *R.E.P.O.* For more tips, check out what Energy Crystals do in the game and how to acquire more.
