Advanced LT for KIA

Enhance your vehicle diagnostics with the Advanced LT plugin for Torque Pro, designed specifically for KIA vehicles. This powerful tool allows you to monitor specific KIA parameters in real-time, including advanced sensor data for both engine and automatic transmission. By integrating this plugin into Torque Pro, you can access an extended list of PIDs/sensors tailored for KIA models, giving you a deeper insight into your vehicle's performance.

The Advanced LT plugin offers a trial version with limited sensors, enabling you to evaluate its functionality before making a purchase. Please note that this version does not include calculated sensors such as Injector Duty Cycle (%) or HIVEC mode. While the plugin primarily supports a range of KIA models and engines, it's worth mentioning that other KIA vehicles might also be compatible, though they haven't been officially tested. In addition to monitoring specific parameters, the Advanced LT plugin features an ECU Scanner. This tool is particularly useful for identifying sensors on KIA engines that are not yet included in the plugin. To utilize this feature, simply record at least 1000 samples and forward the logs to the developer for potential inclusion in future updates.

It's important to note that Advanced LT is not a standalone application and requires the latest version of Torque Pro to operate effectively. To install the plugin, follow these steps:

Plugin Installation

1. Download the plugin from Google Play and ensure it's listed in your Android device's installed applications.
2. Launch Torque Pro and select the "Advanced LT" icon.
3. Choose the correct engine type and return to the Torque Pro main screen.
4. Navigate to Torque Pro's "Settings".
5. Confirm the plugin is listed under "Settings" > "Plugins" > "Installed Plugins".
6. Scroll to "Manage extra PIDs/Sensors".
7. Typically, this screen will be empty unless you've previously added custom or predefined PIDs.
8. From the menu, select "Add predefined set".
9. Ensure you select the correct set for your KIA engine type.
10. After selecting the appropriate set, additional entries should appear in the Extra PIDs/Sensors list.

Adding Displays

1. After adding the new sensors, go to the Realtime Information/Dashboard in Torque Pro.
2. Press the menu key and choose "Add Display".
3. Select your preferred display type (Dial, Bar, Graph, Digital Display, etc.).
4. Choose the appropriate sensor from the list. Sensors added by Advanced LT are prefixed with "[KADV]" and are typically listed near the top, just after the time sensors.
