Gamescom Latam 2024 Crowns "What the Car?" Best Mobile Game

Gamescom Latam, the inaugural gaming event held in Sao Paulo, Brazil, recently concluded, showcasing Latin America's burgeoning gaming scene and celebrating global industry achievements. A key highlight was the game awards ceremony, a collaboration with the BIG Festival.

The awards featured 13 categories, with finalists selected by a panel of 49 judges. All nominees were playable on the show floor, a refreshing inclusion of mobile titles alongside PC games, highlighting the significant role mobile gaming plays.

The coveted "Best Mobile Game" award went to Triband ApS's "What the Car?", a well-deserved win. This follows its earlier recognition in an article featuring ten lesser-known but exceptional games. Its success might necessitate an update to that list!
