In *Modern Community*, the match-3 mechanics come into play whenever you undertake tasks for community members. Let's break down how this system operates. You'll find the main target area at the center of your screen, with your avatar and power-ups displayed on the sides. The center features match-3 tiles in various colors like green, blue, red, and yellow. By matching three or more tiles of the same color, you can swipe them vertically or horizontally next to adjacent tiles of the same color, which will automatically clear anything beneath them.
The Community Pass
The community pass in *Modern Community* functions much like battle passes or seasonal passes found in other mobile games. If you're new to this, think of the pass as an online log of quests that you can tackle daily or seasonally. These quests reset daily, allowing players to complete them and earn experience to level up their community pass. The pass comes in two versions: Free and Paid.
