How to Sign Up for Battlefield Labs and Battlefield 6 Early Access

Author : Lucas Update:Mar 15,2025

EA has finally unveiled Battlefield Studios and given us our first glimpse of the next *Battlefield* game! To help shape the future of the franchise, you can sign up for Battlefield Labs and gain early access to *Battlefield 6*. Here's how to get involved.

What is Battlefield Labs?

Battlefield Labs

EA's Battlefield Labs program offers a select group of fans the chance to directly influence the development of the next Battlefield game. Selected players will participate in early, remote playtests and provide crucial feedback to the developers at EA's Battlefield Studios—a unique opportunity to be part of the Battlefield war room.

Initially, a few thousand players in Europe and North America will be invited, with plans to expand to other regions and tens of thousands of players in the future. Battlefield Labs will be available on PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S.

Is Battlefield Labs Different Than a Beta?

While EA has previously run betas, Battlefield Labs is a different beast. The content will be work-in-progress, meaning you'll encounter more bugs, rough edges, and technical issues than in a typical beta.

EA wants honest feedback on combat, map flow, balance, and more. To ensure this feedback remains confidential, participants will need to sign a non-disclosure agreement (NDA).

How to Sign Up for Battlefield Labs and Play Battlefield 6 Early

Visit the Battlefield Labs webpage to learn more and sign up. You'll need to log in or create an EA account, link it to your preferred gaming platform, and then sign in. Be aware that you might encounter a queue; if so, keep an eye on the tab, as you only have 15 minutes to access the website once your turn arrives.

Once you're in, fill out the required information and register your email address. Keep an eye on your inbox for updates from the official Battlefield Labs newsletter, including playtest invitations if you're selected.

EA has announced the next Battlefield game will launch in FY26, meaning we can expect Battlefield 6 sometime before April 1, 2026.
