This news comes on the heels of the announced mobile version of Final Fantasy XIV, a project spearheaded by Tencent's Lightspeed Studios. This contrasts with the NetEase partnership for Octopath Traveler, hinting at a potential shift in Square Enix's mobile game development approach.
