The game adheres to stable rules where players aim to collect points based on their called hands, potentially earning extra points for exceeding their bids. Spades are the trump cards, and players must follow suit during each trick. If unable to follow suit, a player must play a trump card or any card they wish. The highest card of the lead suit wins the trick unless trumped. The winner of each trick leads the next, and a player who meets or exceeds their bid scores points equal to their bid. The game consists of five rounds, with the highest cumulative score at the end determining the winner and runner-ups.
