Back in January, Bluepoch Games announced an exciting collaboration that has now been fleshed out with more details. The upcoming Reverse: 1999 x Assassin’s Creed crossover is set to thrill fans, featuring the iconic Ezio as a playable character. This partnership with Ubisoft will spotlight two beloved entries from the Assassin’s Creed series: Assassin’s Creed II and Odyssey. A teaser released earlier showed Vertin navigating a rainy street, with the glowing Assassin’s Creed logo emerging in the distance, setting the stage for an immersive crossover experience.
Get Ready to Welcome Ezio from Assassin’s Creed into Reverse: 1999!
The full plan for the collaboration has been unveiled, set to launch on Android, iOS, and PC in August 2025. Beyond the inclusion of Ezio Auditore da Firenze, the Reverse: 1999 x Assassin’s Creed event promises an array of exciting content.
The crossover event unfolds in two distinct phases, each offering unique Assassin’s Creed-themed narratives and activities. Phase I transports players to Renaissance Florence, where Vertin and her team will navigate the 15th-century Italian landscape, deciphering enigmatic clues.
Phase II shifts the scene to ancient Greece, immersing players in the world of Assassin’s Creed Odyssey. Fans of the game will likely recognize many of the events that Vertin and her crew will encounter.
It’s a Special Crossover
This crossover represents a significant milestone for Reverse: 1999, as it will be the first time that all servers globally are synchronized, allowing everyone to access the event content simultaneously.
Reverse: 1999 is a time-traveling RPG that blends modern and retro aesthetics. Players assume the role of Vertin, the Timekeeper, who is immune to a mysterious phenomenon known as The Storm. Following these storms, entire eras vanish, prompting Vertin and her companion Sonetto to traverse various timelines to rescue other arcanists affected by the temporal shifts.
