May 2025 PlayStation Plus Game Catalog Confirmed

Sony has announced the exciting lineup of games joining the PlayStation Plus Game Catalog in May 2025, offering a diverse selection of titles for Extra and Premium subscribers. The announcement was made via a PlayStation.Blog post, showcasing six new games that will be available starting May 20, catering to a wide range of gaming preferences and eras.

Subscribers at the Extra tier will have access to an impressive nine new titles. Leading the pack is Sand Land, an action RPG inspired by the manga of the same name by Akira Toriyama, available on both PS4 and PS5. Other notable additions include Five Nights at Freddy’s: Help Wanted – Full Time Edition and the comprehensive S.T.A.L.K.E.R.: Legends of the Zone Trilogy, which has just been enhanced for PS5, alongside PC and Xbox Series X | S. GSC Game World has confirmed that those who already own the original trilogy on console will receive the Enhanced Edition at no additional cost, though it remains to be seen if this benefit extends to PlayStation Plus subscribers.

For PlayStation Plus Premium members, the classic title Battle Engine Aquila joins the catalog. This sci-fi action game, playable on PS4 and PS5, places players in control of a versatile war vehicle capable of engaging enemies both in the air and on the ground.
