Adin Ross Remains Committed to Kick, Hints at Major Future Plans
Popular streamer Adin Ross has definitively confirmed his intention to remain on the Kick streaming platform. After a mysterious absence in 2024 that fueled speculation about his departure, Ross's recent return with a new livestream signals a long-term commitment to Kick, and promises even bigger projects on the horizon.
Ross, known for his high-profile presence and sometimes controversial content, joined Kick following a permanent ban from Twitch in 2023. His move, alongside other prominent streamers like xQc, significantly boosted Kick's rapid growth. While 2023 saw considerable success, his sudden departure from Kick earlier in 2024 sparked rumors of a rift with CEO Ed Craven. However, these rumors were dispelled during a joint livestream on December 21, 2024, where Ross confirmed his continued presence on the platform. He further solidified this commitment in a recent tweet, assuring fans of his permanent return. His January 4, 2025 livestream, his first in 74 days, alongside Cuffem, Shaggy, and Konvy, marked this official return.
Ambitious Future Projects on the Horizon
Ross's tweet also hinted at "something even bigger" in the works, leaving fans eagerly anticipating future announcements. Many speculate this relates to his Brand Risk boxing events, a project he previously highlighted as a key area for expansion with Kick's support. Given past legal issues with Misfits Boxing earlier in 2024 concerning unsanctioned events, future Brand Risk endeavors will be closely watched.
Ross's decision is a significant boost for both his fanbase and Kick itself. Kick, aiming for dominance in the streaming market, has been actively pursuing deals with top-tier creators. As stated by co-founder Bijan Tehrani several months ago, their ambition is to either surpass or acquire Twitch – an ambitious goal, yet increasingly plausible given their current momentum.
