The beloved strategy game series expands its horizons with *Age of Empires Mobile* unveiling the innovative Mercenaries System. This feature empowers players with greater command and might over their forces, enhancing the strategic depth of the game.

At Level 26, players gain access to the Mercenary Camp, where they can enlist and recruit formidable mercenary units. These units come with their own unique technologies that can be unlocked and upgraded, offering exclusive advantages to these elite warriors.

Each mercenary group brings a distinct set of special skills to the battlefield:

Byzantine Cataphract:

• Increase the damage of all hero skills of the army by [2%]
• After the troops inflict skill damage, all damage received by our troops is reduced by [3.5%] for [3] seconds

Swiss Pikeman:

• Increase the probability of triggering the hero’s pursuit/active skills of all troops by [1%]
• Reduce all damage received by troops by [2%]

Korean Archer:

• Increase the probability of triggering the hero’s pursuit/active skills of all troops by [1%]
• Reduce all damage received by troops by [2%]

Players have the opportunity to recruit their first Mercenaries at no cost by participating in a special event that coincides with the system's launch.
