Com2uS has recently launched a delightful new adventure game for Android called Minion Rumble. From the title alone, you can probably tell it's going to be fun and quirky. Imagine summoning a capybara with impressive battle stats while sipping your favorite drink and fending off zombie-like hordes. That’s the unique vibe Minion Rumble brings to your mobile gaming experience!
Where Is Minion Rumble Available?
Minion Rumble is currently available in the US, Canada, the UK, Indonesia, Malaysia, and the Philippines. At its heart, this game is a casual roguelike with .io-style legion battles. You'll take on the role of a Summoner, who leads your squad into battle. Alongside the Summoner, you'll recruit Champions and Minions to complete your team. The game is filled with whimsical and entertaining elements, such as a bowmaster fairy and a war-hardened shooter teaming up with a cat Champion to tackle endless waves of enemies.
The gameplay is designed for vertical, one-handed play, making it easy to dive into. During your runs, you'll encounter random skill cards and Champions, ensuring that no two builds are ever the same. So, while you might want to rely on that overpowered swordmaster, you'll need to adapt to the cards you're dealt. Outside of combat, Minion Rumble features a gear system that lets you upgrade your wand, arrows, or sword as you progress. Plus, there's an offline rewards system that continually accumulates loot for you, even when you're not playing.
There Are Some Fun Launch Events Happening Right Now
Minion Rumble is kicking off with some exciting launch events. The first event, Pudding Paradise, runs until April 17th. This quest-and-dice event allows you to earn Pudding Plates, which can be exchanged for rewards, including Epic Champion Selection Chests. Next up is the Puddiebean Fusion Festival, live until April 24th. In this event, you'll collect Puddiebeans from quests and fuse them into gear, some of which is S-tier.
Additionally, players who pre-registered for the game will receive rewards, including 10,000 Gold and the Epic Champion Capyboo. Capyboo is a tanky unit that's as durable as it is adorable.
Minion Rumble supports seven languages and is free to play. You can find it on the Google Play Store. If you're interested in more new releases, be sure to check out our coverage of MageTrain, a fast-paced pixel art snakelike roguelike, now available on Android.
