Unlocking more animals in Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp Complete involves raising your Camp Manager Level. By the time you reach level 76, you'll have unlocked almost every animal in the game, with the exception of those tied to Villager Maps. As you progress, leveling up becomes more challenging, so consistency in completing requests and interacting with visitors at your campsite or cabin is crucial for farming friendship points. Additionally, leveling up not only helps you unlock new animals but also provides perks like Leaf Tokens and expanded inventory space.
How to Farm Experience
Tips for Leveling Up Fast
Engaging with animals on the map is a great way to boost your experience. Each time you talk to an animal, you earn +2 friendship points. These animals always come with requests, and fulfilling them, along with giving gifts and changing their outfits, contributes to their friendship level, which in turn boosts your Camp Manager level.
Remember, animals don't stay on the map indefinitely; they rotate every three hours, bringing new requests with them. Make sure to interact with all animals before the next cycle.
If you have animals at your campsite or cabin, they'll remain there until you decide to change them. Warping to your campsite or cabin during the three-hour cycle gives you a chance to speak with visiting animals, offering another opportunity to farm friendship points. Opting for "Tell me a story!" can lead to selecting furniture or clothing as gifts, earning you +6 friendship points, even if the gift isn't to their taste.
It's crucial to select dialogue options highlighted in red to earn friendship points. For instance, choosing "Change outfit!" when it's highlighted will give you +2 points, but repeating the same option won't yield additional points.
Amenities
Constructing amenities is another effective way to earn friendship points from multiple animals simultaneously. Each amenity has a specific type, and animals matching that type will gain more experience. Although amenities can take days to craft, once built, you can level them up with Bells and materials to continue earning points. Upgrading an amenity to level 5/max level will require 3-4 days of construction, so plan accordingly.
Giving Snacks
Snacks are another way to boost friendship points. Each snack has a type, so matching the snack to the animal's type maximizes your points. For example, giving a natural-themed snack like a Plain Waffle to a natural-themed animal like Goldie will yield more points than giving it to a non-natural animal like Agnes.
Using Gulliver's Ship, you can unlock Villager Maps from golden islands, which can be used at Blathers's Treasure Trek to collect Bronze, Silver, and Gold Treats. Completing all souvenirs on a golden/villager island earns you 20 Gold Treats. If you've already collected all Villager Maps, you can obtain these treats through Requests or Isles of Style. These treats are universally liked and provide +3, +10, and +25 friendship points respectively.
Animal Requests Tips
What Should You Give?
For efficient request completion, consider using Pete's Parcel Service. This allows you to send items in bulk and earn friendship points without direct interaction. Most requests involve delivering items like fruit or bugs.
Some requests allow you to choose the item you give, and opting for higher-quality items can yield bonus rewards and extra experience. You'll also receive 1500 Bells for rarer items. Recommended items include:
- Perfect Fruit (excluding non-local)
- Snow crab
- Splendid alfonsino
- Amberjack
- R. Brooke's birdwing
- Luna moth
- White scarab beetle
When an animal reaches level 10 (or 15 for some), you can accept their Special Request, which involves crafting specific furniture. These requests are time-consuming and costly, often requiring over 9000 Bells and 10+ hours to complete, but they're a significant source of friendship points.
