Balatro's "Friends of Jimbo 3" Update Brings Even More Organized Chaos
The popular deckbuilding roguelike, Balatro, is expanding its already chaotic roster with a massive free update: Friends of Jimbo 3. This update introduces eight new franchises, adding even more unexpected card art and gameplay twists to the already wildly popular game. With a total of 16 franchises now represented, players will have more customization options than ever before.
This latest collaboration, the third and largest to date, features appearances from beloved titles including Divinity: Original Sin 2, Don't Starve, Enter the Gungeon, Cult of the Lamb, 1000x Resist, Potion Craft, Shovel Knight, and Warframe.
The timing of this update is no coincidence; Playstack and LocalThunk cleverly launched it in conjunction with The Game Awards, where Balatro received an impressive five nominations, including a nomination for Game of the Year!
