Dragon Ball Gekishin Squadra from Bandai Namco is now available across a wide range of platforms, including Android, iOS, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch, and Steam. This marks the first completely free-to-play Dragon Ball game designed specifically for team-based combat.
What features does Dragon Ball Gekishin Squadra offer?
The game is a 4v4 real-time strategy experience. At launch, players can choose from 22 unique characters—five newly introduced fighters join the 17 previously announced. The roster offers incredible diversity, with each character bringing a completely distinct set of abilities to the battlefield.
Perfect Form Cell excels by absorbing enemy Bioenergy, using rear attacks to drain opponents' strength. Android 17 is a defensive expert, protecting teammates with barriers and maintaining high stamina throughout the fight.
The assassin Hit relies on precision strikes and his Fear of Death technique to approach enemies unseen and deliver quick eliminations. Super Saiyan Kale in her berserk state overwhelms foes with uncontrollable rage.
Meanwhile, Gamma 1 and Gamma 2 work as a tag team. They fluidly switch between handling large group fights and intense one-on-one duels, aided by their Special Pose. Detailed information on all fighters is available on the official site.
All characters fit into one of three roles. Damage dealers apply constant offensive pressure. Tanks absorb damage while holding key positions. Finally, technical heroes provide flexible support through buffs and disruptive abilities.
Players can freely combine heroes to build squads that strike a balance between offense, defense, and tactical play. Battle progression allows characters to grow stronger during a match, unlocking new skills as the fight continues.
