Polytopia World Cup Offers $10K Prize

Polytopia Announces 2025 World Championship with $10K Prize Pool

Polytopia Prepares for Its First-Ever World Championship

Independent developer Midjiwan has unveiled plans for The Battle of Polytopia World Championship 2025, marking a major milestone for the beloved strategy game. The global tournament will commence this fall, bringing together the game's passionate community for competitive showdowns.

A Massive Global Tournament Approaches

The championship follows Polytopia's engaging "Battle of the Tribes" theme, allowing participants to select from all 12 distinctive in-game tribes. Each civilization offers unique regional traits and strategic strengths, mirroring the core gameplay experience.

Competition begins with open qualifiers in September, giving every player equal opportunity to prove their skills. Top performers will advance through tribe-specific playoffs and elimination matches, with the ultimate prize being one of six coveted spots at the live finals in Stockholm on December 6th.

While the grand finals will be an in-person event, Midjiwan will stream all matches online for global audiences. Fans worldwide can watch the strategic battles unfold and glimpse behind-the-scenes content from the development team.

Substantial Rewards and Competitive Structure

With a $10,000 prize pool - the largest in Polytopia's nine-year history - the championship represents a significant milestone for the indie title. Matches will be hosted on the Polytopia Official Space within the Challengermode esports platform, with qualifiers starting September 13th.

For those seeking casual play instead of competitive action, the recent Zebasi Tribe Moon update offers fresh content to explore. The game remains available as a free download on the Google Play Store.
