The object of the game is to survive…

When you're thrown into your world and onto your plot of land, you might think the goal is to protect your plot. However, the true objective is to survive—or, more specifically, not to die. The game will throw numerous dangers at you, and your task is to endure them. Ideally, you should do this at your plot by building a defensive structure, but you can also simply run around the world until the danger passes (a strategy that works surprisingly well). Each time you survive, you earn a "Win" and some in-game currency. Collecting Wins is crucial for progressing in the game. So, keep an eye on the screen messages and focus on staying alive.

… dying is completely normal

Don't fret if you die; it's a common occurrence in *Build Defense*. There are minimal consequences for dying—you'll respawn immediately, lose your items, and fail the current wave of enemies, but none of these setbacks are game-ending. You can repurchase your weapons and items, and monsters and disasters won't destroy your structures. Another attack wave comes every two minutes, giving you plenty of opportunities to try again. Essentially, all you lose is a bit of time, which isn't a significant setback.

Build high, not low

Initially, building a wall around your plot might seem like a good defense strategy, but it's not very effective. Monsters can exploit any entry or exit points. A more effective approach is to construct a set of stairs that ascend high into the sky and build a platform at the top. When night falls, you can climb up and wait it out safely. Monsters attempting to climb the steep stairs are likely to fall, and those who reach the top can be met with a welcoming committee of turrets. This setup is nearly foolproof and will help you survive most nights.

Don't just build, explore!

There's much more to do on the island than just managing your plot. You can visit other players, sell ores, and even undertake quests. Most quests require a certain number of Wins to unlock, but some, like the Gingerbread's House quest, are available from the start. Completing these quests can unlock exciting new building parts, enhancing your gameplay experience.

The "Shop" isn't just for premium items

As you progress, don't forget to check out the Shop. Most items there can be purchased with in-game currency, but you'll need to accumulate a few Wins first. Before diving into the Shop, play the game to earn those Wins. Also, remember to join the Swiftplay Roblox group and like, favorite, and follow the game to receive a free gift.

When you're ready, move to the next area

Once you've earned 190 Wins, you can move to the next area and start the process anew. You'll encounter new disasters, quests, and building opportunities.
