Bendy and the Ink Machine is back on mobile with the new game, Bendy: Lone Wolf! Building upon the formula established by Boris and the Dark Survival, this top-down, isometric survival horror title promises a thrilling experience.
Launching on iOS, Android, Switch, and Steam in 2025, Lone Wolf seemingly puts you in the shoes of Boris the Wolf, navigating the perilous depths of Joey Drew Studios. The reveal trailer (see below) showcases plenty of gameplay.
The original Bendy and the Ink Machine, along with spin-offs Nightmare Run and Boris and the Dark Survival, are already available on mobile. While the exact relationship between Lone Wolf and Dark Survival remains unclear – whether it's a definitive edition or a fresh take – it's clear the developers are drawing inspiration from the latter.
A Lasting Legacy
The Bendy and the Ink Machine franchise retains significant popularity, often cited alongside Five Nights at Freddy's as a pioneer of the mascot horror genre. The success of Lone Wolf will likely depend on its unique features. Although not the first isometric survival horror game featuring Boris, the multi-platform release (including Steam and Switch) suggests a refined experience building upon previous mobile iterations.
