Embarking on your journey through the Ligneus Region with Yumia and your companions, you'll soon unlock the delightful feature of setting up camp to bond with your friends. If you're unsure about where and when to build your camp, here's a comprehensive guide on how to camp in *Atelier Yumia*.
How to Craft a Camping Set in Atelier Yumia
Unlocking the ability to craft Camping Sets is a breeze through Simple Synthesis, but first, you need to clear the manabound Dux Lighthouse. This is the initial manabound area Yumia tackles during your adventure. Once you've cleared it and established a base on the newly revealed land, return to the Ligneus Survey Base and chat with Erhard to unlock the camping feature.
Crafting a Camping Set requires the following materials:
- 5% Energy
- 3 Wood
- 2 Water
- 5 Fiber
- 2 Charcoal
These resources are plentiful around the Ligneus Survey Base. Water can be sourced from wells scattered across the region, but you can also gather it by harvesting plants near river shores, which also yields fiber. Charcoal, on the other hand, is a byproduct of mining ore.
Once you've gathered all the materials, navigate to the Simple Synthesis menu. Ensure you have a 4×4 space available before crafting your Camping Set. If you lack the space, the Camping Set will be sent to your stash back at the Atelier or one of your bases.
Where to Camp in Atelier Yumia
With your Camping Set ready, you can pitch your tent anywhere there's an open expanse of land. Steer clear of narrow cliffs or dense forests; you'll need to find a reasonably open space. There are numerous campsites available, such as the River Campsite near Ligneus Survey Base, which serve perfectly as spots to set up camp.
If you have a Camping Set in your Exploration Bag, access the radial menu to check if the Camping option in the bottom right corner is highlighted. If it's greyed out, that location won't allow you to camp.
What to Do While Camping in Atelier Yumia
Camping is your exclusive opportunity to cook the delectable dishes you've gathered while exploring. It's crucial to find a spot to rest and recharge before tackling a boss or venturing into a manabound area, especially on tougher difficulties.
Additionally, camping provides a chance to enjoy unique dialogue from your companions. While it won't impact the main storyline, these conversations will deepen your understanding and bond with your team.
