Clue Mobile Adds 2016 Suspects

Marmalade Game Studio has delighted fans of the classic murder-mystery game, Clue aka Cluedo, with the release of the 2016 Suspects Pack for its digital version. If you're a fan, you'll be thrilled to dive back into the game with some of the iconic characters from the 2016 edition.

Who Are the 2016 Clue aka Cluedo Suspects?

The pack includes beloved characters such as Miss Scarlet, Colonel Mustard, Reverend Green, Professor Plum, Dr. Orchid, and Mrs. Peacock. This new pack focuses solely on these characters, giving you the freedom to integrate them into any scenario you desire, without being bound to specific crime scenes or case files. Whether you want to play with your nostalgic favorite or mix them with the newer 2023 cast, the choice is yours.

Fans of the 2016 version have been vocal about their desire to see these characters return, especially after the introduction of the more modern 2023 characters. It's great to see that Marmalade Game Studio has responded to the community's requests by releasing this pack.

There’s More Coming to the Game!

In addition to the 2016 Suspects Pack, Clue aka Cluedo is introducing a new Retro Rules Set game mode, which is available for free. This mode harks back to the original 1949 rules, offering a nostalgic gameplay experience with old-school mechanics. For instance, tokens will start at designated spots on the board, with Miss Scarlet making the first move—unless she's absent, in which case Colonel Mustard takes the lead.

In this mode, accusations can only be made while in a room, and Clue Cards are omitted entirely. Additionally, you can't move through squares occupied by other players. This Retro Rules Set adds a delightful layer of vintage charm to the game.
