One of the underrated mobile classics of the last few years is finally set to receive its sequel with an announced release date. Crashlands 2 will land on April 10th, offering more humorous survival action as you step back into the comfortable purple shoes of Flux Dabes.
So, what is Crashlands? Imagine blending a bit of Starbound with Don't Starve, and you'll get something close to this isometric survival RPG. You play as the space trucker Flux Dabes, returning to the planet of Woanope to recover from a case of "celestial burnout." As you might expect, things don't go according to plan, and soon you find yourself stranded on the planet's surface once again. You'll need to craft weapons and gadgets, build your own home, and survive on a living planet that reacts to every move you make—even the silly ones.
Starry-eyed Crashlands 2 is a significant revamp of the original, featuring enhanced graphics and gameplay. You'll enjoy the survival RPG elements alongside a vast cast of characters to meet and interact with, including many familiar faces from the first Crashlands. Add to that a living world teeming with flora and fauna to evade or eliminate, a story that propels you to uncover the reason behind your latest crash landing, and various features like collectible pets, and you have a robust package of content to explore.
