Crashlands 2 has just received a significant update with version 1.1, courtesy of Butterscotch Shenanigans. This update addresses many of the features that fans of the original Crashlands were eager to see return, alongside new challenges and enhancements to gameplay.
What’s in Store in Crashlands 2 Update 1.1?
Introducing Legend Mode, which ups the ante with even higher difficulty levels than Challenge Mode. Enemies on Woanope are not only quicker and more powerful but also boast increased health. Meanwhile, Flux Dabes has become more vulnerable, adding an extra layer of strategy to your gameplay. While there aren't additional achievements for conquering Legend Mode, successfully completing it will automatically unlock all achievements from lower difficulties, providing a rewarding experience.
On the other hand, for those who prefer a more relaxed pace, Explorer Mode is now available. This mode is perfect for players who want to focus on farming mushrooms, building a charming home, and fishing without the constant threat of combat. It significantly reduces the intensity of battles, allowing you to immerse yourself in the story, decorate your base, and enjoy the quirky characters that populate Crashlands 2.
A major highlight of this update is the return of The Compendium, a beloved feature from the original game. Responding to player feedback, Butterscotch Shenanigans reintroduced The Compendium, which meticulously tracks everything Flux discovers, including the number of pets, recipes, and items yet to be collected to reach your goals.
Pets Also Got a Bit of an Upgrade
With the 1.1 update, pets in Crashlands 2 have become more integral to your adventures. They now assist in combat and come equipped with unique abilities that can be activated every 20 seconds, adding a new dimension to your strategy.
Gear crafting has seen an increase in variety, with random bonus stats now possible when crafting armor. Additionally, the update brings a host of new gadgets, weapons, and trinkets for players to explore and utilize.
Quality of life improvements are also a significant part of update 1.1. Players can now build on a wider variety of terrain, customize the location of their home teleporter, and even adjust the darkness levels at night, enhancing the overall experience.
Crashlands 2 is available on the Google Play Store. Launched on April 10th, this patch demonstrates the developers' commitment to responding to player feedback and continuously improving the game.
