Marvel has unveiled the highly anticipated first trailer for the Disney+ series, Daredevil: Born Again, showcasing the return of Charlie Cox as Matt Murdock, reprising his role from the beloved Netflix series. Scheduled for release on March 4, the series brings back familiar faces including Vincent D'Onofrio as Wilson Fisk, known as Kingpin, and Jon Bernthal as Frank Castle, the Punisher.
The trailer sets the stage for an intense reunion of these key characters, featuring gripping and brutal action sequences. Daredevil, in his signature relentless style, tackles the criminal elements entrenched in New York City's Hell's Kitchen. The narrative introduces a fresh challenge for Matt Murdock and Wilson Fisk, who form an unexpected alliance against a new adversary, the artistically inclined serial killer known as Muse. A brief glimpse of Muse, donning his distinctive bleeding eye white mask, adds to the trailer's ominous atmosphere.
Muse, a relatively new addition to Daredevil's roster of villains, was brought to life by creators Charles Soule and Ron Garney in 2016's Daredevil #11. The trailer also offers a sneak peek at Wilson Bethel reprising his role as Bullseye, another iconic Daredevil antagonist. Bethel, who portrayed Bullseye (aka Benjamin Poindexter) in Season 3 of the Netflix series, appeared in 11 out of 13 episodes, delivering a compelling and tragic origin story that added depth to a character first introduced in 1976's Daredevil #131. Fans are eager to see how Bullseye's narrative will evolve in this new installment.
