Get ready for an exciting new chapter in Dark and Darker Mobile as pre-season #3, 'Grappling with the Abyss,' launches today and runs until June 10th. Much like the buzz around Sonic Rumble's pre-launch crossover event with top Sega icons, Dark and Darker Mobile is following suit by offering a wealth of new content for its soft launch players.
The highlight of this season is the introduction of Arena mode, a competitive PvP feature that brings 3v3, best-of-five deathmatches to the game. Set on randomized maps, players need to reach at least level 10 and maintain a 500 minimum equipment score to compete. You can also bring a hired mercenary companion into the fray, adding a strategic layer to your battles.
Another major addition is the Shadow Realm, a new PvE mode where you'll face weekly, escalating boss battles. To summon these formidable foes, you must first clear waves of existing monsters, making it a challenging journey that requires an account level of 15 to access.
But that's not all. Pre-season #3 also introduces the Guild Encampment, a social space where Guild members can interact and socialize. The Soulstone system allows you to equip a monster's soulstone at account level 8, granting new traits to enhance your gameplay. Additionally, the Stat Tree system provides persistent progression, complementing the influx of new loot, monsters, gear, and various quality-of-life upgrades.
