Kabam is rolling out thrilling updates to Marvel Contest of Champions, initiating the Dark Phoenix Saga, introducing new Champions, and unveiling a novel character type called Eidols. This month, the focus is on celebrating the powerful women of The Contest, allowing you to influence an upcoming Champion rework.
Jean Grey and Bastion are the newest additions to The Contest, each bringing their unique abilities and a compelling new storyline. You can recruit Jean Grey starting March 13th, and Bastion will join the fray on March 27th. Before that, dive into the Dark Phoenix Saga, which begins on March 3rd, where Jean Grey and the X-Men will battle dangerous variants in an exciting new quest.
The lore of Marvel Contest of Champions is set to expand further with the introduction of more Eidols, continuing the Founders storyline. Following the debut of Isophyne in December 2024, three more Eidols are slated for release throughout 2025, each with its own unique sourcing system. Lumatrix, the next Eidol, will make its entrance on March 5th and will be available until June 4th.
Lumatrix, crafted by The Founders, is a master infiltrator designed for spying, sabotage, and assassination with unmatched precision. Made from ISO-8 crystals, Lumatrix possesses remarkable light manipulation abilities.
