Get Your Pet

As soon as you dive into Diablo 4 Season 7, head to the nearest town with a Wardrobe and interact with it to claim your pet. While pets don't participate in combat, they efficiently gather gold and materials, saving you valuable time that you can instead dedicate to battling and looting.

Grab Your Mercenaries

If you own the Vessel of Hatred expansion, visit the Den to recruit a Mercenary. Solo players can have up to two Mercenaries, which not only ease the leveling and combat experience but also allow you to build Rapport for additional rewards.

Follow the Seasonal Questline and Level Up

Begin on Normal difficulty and ensure you follow the new seasonal questline in Diablo 4 Season 7, marked by green leaf icons on your map. This questline introduces new mechanics such as Headhunt zones, Grim Favors, and Witch powers. Although it includes a few puzzles, it mainly involves farming Favors in Headhunt zones, which is the most effective way to reach level 60. Collect 10 Grim Favors and exchange them at the Tree of Whispers or with a Raven of the Tree found in each Headhunt zone for a cache.

Witchcraft Powers

At the Tree of Whispers, interact with the Altars of Witchcraft to purchase and upgrade your Witchcraft powers using Restless Rot, obtained from defeating new Rot enemies. Some Witch powers are exclusive to Forgotten Altars, which you can find in various dungeons and by using a Draught of Whispers to increase your chances of encountering them.

Rootholds

Diablo 4 Season 7 introduces Rootholds, a new dungeon type accessible by consuming Whispering Wood, obtained from Whispers and Silent Chests. Rootholds feature a rogue-lite mode with negative modifiers that enhance loot quality. Open Exposed Roots for loot, with the modifiers affecting the number and quality of roots. Occult Gems
