What Can You Do After You Finish Assassin’s Creed Shadows? Answered

After completing the main quest in Assassin’s Creed Shadows, the vast world of Feudal Japan remains open for exploration. The game does not restrict access to any side content post-completion, allowing you to delve deeper into the rich environment and engage with all the additional missions and activities at your leisure.

Moreover, the game will continue to evolve with new weekly challenges introduced through the Animus after launch. This means even after achieving 100% completion, there will always be new objectives to tackle, keeping the gameplay fresh and engaging.

Assassin’s Creed Shadows Epilogue and Endgame Explained

Even after the credits roll, your journey in Assassin’s Creed Shadows might not be over. In my experience, the credits appeared after completing the Shinbakufu Objective Board and the main quests for both Yasuke and Naoe. However, I did not receive the trophy for finishing Act 3 or The Epilogue. To unlock the true ending and the epilogue, you must complete the personal stories of Naoe, Yasuke, and Junjiro, and then return to the Hideout to speak with Tomiko. This will grant you access to the complete ending and associated achievements.

Additionally, players can look forward to exclusive gear sets themed around the Assassins for Naoe and the Templars for Yasuke, available towards the end of the game. These sets come with unique perks that enhance each protagonist’s playstyle and are designed to appeal to long-time fans of the Assassin’s Creed series.

As for endgame content, Assassin’s Creed Shadows allows players to continue progressing well beyond the credits, all the way up to the game's max level cap.

What’s Next For Assassin’s Creed Shadows?

While the main story of Assassin’s Creed Shadows concludes at launch, the game's future looks bright with planned updates. New content will be regularly added through the Animus, and the in-game store is expected to receive updates with new items. Additionally, a story expansion titled The Claws of Awaji is slated for release in 2025, which will introduce over 10 hours of new content set on the Island of Awaji.
