DLSS 4 Multi-Frame Generation Now Supported in All Games

Author : George Update:Apr 12,2025

At the 2025 Consumer Electronics Show (CES), Nvidia unveiled exciting developments for gaming enthusiasts with the announcement that 75 games will support DLSS 4 Multi-Frame Generation, a feature exclusive to the RTX 50 series of GPUs. These advancements promise to significantly boost frame rates, enhancing the gaming experience in titles such as Indiana Jones and the Great Circle, Cyberpunk 2077, and Marvel Rivals once the RTX 50 GPUs are available.

The next generation of Nvidia GPUs, codenamed Blackwell, will build on the foundation laid by the Ada Lovelace architecture. These GPUs, expected in January, will introduce Multi-Frame Generation, aiming to increase FPS more effectively than the current Frame Generation technology. The flagship model of the Blackwell series, the RTX 5090, will feature 32GB of GDDR7 video memory and start at an MSRP of $1,999. Other models in the lineup, including the RTX 5080, 5070 Ti, and 5070, will be priced at $999, $749, and $549 respectively.

Nvidia highlighted that DLSS 4 and Multi-Frame Generation could revolutionize gaming performance. They demonstrated this with Cyberpunk 2077, noting that with full ray tracing and these technologies disabled, the game runs below 30 FPS on the RTX 5090. However, enabling DLSS and Multi-Frame Generation boosts the frame rate to an impressive 236 FPS on the flagship Blackwell GPU.

Here is a comprehensive list of the 75 games and apps that will support Nvidia DLSS 4 and Multi-Frame Generation right from the start:

While Nvidia did not specify an exact release date for the RTX 50 series in January, they confirmed that some DLSS 4 enhancements will not be exclusive to the RTX 50 GPUs. Older RTX 40 series cards will also benefit from improved DLSS features such as Frame Generation, Ray Reconstruction, and Deep Learning Anti-Aliasing (DLAA) through future Nvidia GeForce driver updates available via the Nvidia app or their website.

Additionally, upcoming titles like Doom: The Dark Ages will incorporate Multi-Frame Generation and Ray Reconstruction upon release, offering PC gamers a compelling reason to consider upgrading to the RTX 50 lineup.
