Approximately two and a half years ago, developer Christoph Minnameier gifted us the delightful dungeon crawler, Dungeons of Dreadrock. Inspired by classics like Dungeon Master and Eye of the Beholder, it offered a top-down perspective and a unique puzzle-focused approach across its 100 levels. Each floor presented a new challenge, often resembling a logic puzzle, requiring players to strategically trigger traps and overcome enemies to rescue their brother. Our review lauded its difficulty and clever design, and the game subsequently enjoyed success across numerous platforms. Now, we eagerly anticipate its sequel. Introducing Dungeons of Dreadrock 2 – The Dead King’s Secret!
The striking red background, prominent Switch logo, and familiar snapping sound confirm a Nintendo Switch debut. The game's website reveals a November 28th, 2024 release on the Switch eShop. However, PC gamers can rejoice! A PC version is in development and is currently available to wishlist on Steam. Mobile players on iOS and Android can also look forward to the game's release, though specific dates remain unannounced. We'll provide updates on the mobile and other platform releases as soon as they become available.
