Konami and FIFA's esports collaboration: a surprising twist! Who would have predicted this partnership, especially given the long-standing FIFA vs. PES rivalry? Yet, it's happening: FIFAe Virtual World Cup 2024 will utilize Konami's eFootball platform.
eFootball In-Game Qualifiers: Now Live!
This year's tournament features two divisions: Console (PS4 and PS5) and Mobile. Eighteen countries are vying for the final spots: Brazil, Japan, Argentina, Portugal, Spain, England, France, Costa Rica, India, Indonesia, Malaysia, Morocco, Netherlands, Poland, Saudi Arabia, South Korea, Thailand, and Turkey.
The in-game qualifiers run in three stages from October 10th to 20th. National Nomination Phases for the 18 participating countries follow from October 28th to November 3rd.
The offline final round will conclude in late 2024 (exact date pending). Even if your country isn't among the 18, you can still participate in the qualifiers up to Round 3, earning rewards including 50 eFootball coins, 30,000 XP, and more.

The Unexpected FIFA x Konami Partnership -----------------------------------------This collaboration is particularly noteworthy considering their past competition. To provide context, EA and FIFA ended their decade-long partnership in 2022, reportedly due to FIFA's demand for a substantial $1 billion licensing fee every four years – a significant increase from the previous $150 million.
Following the split, EA released EA Sports FC 24 in 2023 without the FIFA branding. Now, FIFA has unexpectedly partnered with Konami's eFootball for the FIFAe World Cup 2024.
Download eFootball from the Google Play Store and take advantage of the current special event offering a custom Bruno Fernandes design and an 8x match experience multiplier for faster Dream Team progression.
