Elden Ring Movie Director Eyeing Warfare's Kit Connor for Upcoming Adaptation

Kit Connor, known for his standout role in Alex Garland’s recent film Warfare, is reportedly in early talks to join the upcoming Elden Ring movie. This potential casting comes as director Alex Garland prepares to bring the dark fantasy world of FromSoftware’s acclaimed RPG to life for the big screen.

According to reports from Deadline and confirmed by Variety, Garland has expressed interest in reuniting with Connor for this highly anticipated adaptation. However, it's still early days—no formal offer has been extended yet.

In Warfare, Connor delivered a compelling performance alongside Michael Fassbender in a tense, real-time portrayal of a U.S. Navy SEAL team under siege in Iraq. His performance added to an already impressive resume that includes popular roles in Heartstopper, His Dark Materials, and Rocketman. He’s also lent his voice to major video game titles such as A Plague Tale: Requiem, Xenoblade Chronicles 3, and Dreams.
