The darkness rises as Bandai Namco and FromSoftware reveal the worldwide launch schedule for Elden Ring Nightreign.
Elden Ring Nightreign officially unlocks on May 30 at 12:00 AM EDT across PC, PlayStation 4/5, and Xbox One/Series X|S. However, time zone variations mean some players get early access. Pacific Time gamers, for instance, can start their Nightreign journey at 9 PM on May 29.
Platform differences create staggered access too. Bandai Namco confirms PC players in most regions get first dibs. East Coast PC users can begin at 6 PM on May 29, while console players must wait until midnight.

Pre-loading opens 48 hours before launch on PlayStation, Xbox, and Steam.
In an exclusive IGN interview, Nightreign director Junya Ishizaki explained the design decision to base the experience around solo and trio play. When questioned about the absence of duo mode, Ishizaki admitted it slipped through development cracks.
"Honestly, we completely missed implementing a dedicated duo option during development," Ishizaki confessed. "Our focus remained firmly on crafting a three-player co-op experience with balanced combat and mechanics."
"As a player myself, I absolutely understand the appeal of duo play," Ishizaki added. "We prioritized making the solo adventure rewarding within our new systems so intensely that the two-player option got overlooked. It's something we're actively considering for post-launch support."
If you're planning to play as a duo, prepare to embrace an unknown third companion. That random teammate might just turn out to be your perfect combat partner.
