Escape from Tarkov: New Year

Escape from Tarkov's wipe, initially slated for pre-New Year's release due to a simplified Kappa container quest, now has a confirmed launch time. The update will commence on December 26th at 7:00 AM GMT / 2:00 AM EST. Following maintenance (estimated at 8 hours, though past updates have exceeded this), the game will update to version 0.16.0.0 (Tarkov Arena to 0.2.5.0).

To keep players engaged during downtime, Battlestate Games will host a New Year's Special Twitch stream at 4:00 PM GMT / 11:00 AM EST. While specifics remain undisclosed, additional content is anticipated.

Version 0.16.0.0 signifies the game's full release remains pending, likely pushing it into 2025. However, several key features are expected:
