Floatopia Is Coming To Android, And It Has Strong Animal Crossing Energy

NetEase Games unveiled their charming life sim, Floatopia, at Gamescom, promising a multi-platform release, including Android, sometime in 2025. This whimsical game features a sky-bound world of islands and eccentric characters. The trailer showcases idyllic farming, fishing, and island decorating.

A Cute Apocalypse

The game's premise involves a unique apocalypse: a fractured world suspended in the sky, populated by humans with diverse, and sometimes underwhelming, superpowers. Players discover the hidden potential in seemingly insignificant abilities.

As the Island Manager, you'll engage in familiar life sim activities: cultivating crops, cloud fishing, and meticulously designing your floating home. Explore exotic locations, meet new characters, and host island parties with friends (or keep your paradise all to yourself – multiplayer is optional).

Meet a colorful cast of characters, each with their own unique personalities and superpowers, reminiscent of My Hero Academia.

While a specific 2025 release date hasn't been announced, pre-registration is available on the official website.
