Fortnite Adds Darth Jar Jar, Star Wars Battle Pass in Galactic Season

Fortnite is set to immerse players in the Star Wars universe with its upcoming season, dubbed "Galactic Battle," which launches on May 2, 2025. This season promises a thrilling Star Wars-themed Battle Pass and a five-part saga filled with exciting twists and turns. One of the most intriguing additions is the arrival of Darth Jar Jar to the Battle Royale mode, a surprise revealed during the Star Wars Celebration.

The event also teased more Star Wars-themed content coming next month, including the introduction of Force Lightning as a new in-game ability. The Battle Pass will feature iconic characters like Emperor Palpatine and unique mashups such as the Wookiee Cuddle Team Leader. Players can look forward to new Item Shop offerings, including Mace Windu, and the chance to pilot and co-pilot X-Wings and TIE Fighters. Themed map locations will further enhance the immersive experience.

The Star Wars saga within Fortnite will unfold weekly, each with a distinct theme:

• Imperial Takeover – May 2, 2025
• The Pull of the Force – May 8, 2025
• Mandalorian Rising – May 22, 2025
• Star Destroyer Bombardment – May 29, 2025
• Death Star Sabotage – June 7, 2025

These weekly themes will culminate in a live in-game narrative event that promises to make players feel as though they hold the fate of the galaxy in their hands.
