Fortnite and Devil May Cry Tease Collaboration

Fortnite x Devil May Cry Collaboration Imminent, Leaks Suggest

Recent leaks point to an upcoming collaboration between Fortnite and the Devil May Cry franchise. While Fortnite leaks are common, and not all pan out, the persistent buzz surrounding a Devil May Cry crossover, fueled by years of fan speculation, suggests this one might be real.

The potential collaboration arrives alongside other anticipated additions, such as the Hatsune Miku skin. While Fortnite regularly explores diverse character options through surveys, a return to established partnerships seems more likely. Given Fortnite's past collaborations with Capcom (including Resident Evil characters), a Devil May Cry crossover is a logical next step for many fans.

Reliable Fortnite leaker ShiinaBR, citing information from Loolo_WRLD and Wensoing, corroborates the rumor. Interestingly, XboxEra co-founder Nick Baker initially mentioned this possibility in 2023, and the recent resurgence of insider confirmations strengthens the likelihood of an imminent reveal.

Timing and Character Speculation

With numerous updates expected for Fortnite in the coming weeks, the Devil May Cry collaboration might launch after Chapter 6 Season 1 concludes. While some doubt the validity due to the time elapsed since the initial leak, Nick Baker's successful prediction of previous collaborations (Doom and Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles) lends credibility.

Character selection remains uncertain. While Dante and Vergil are prime candidates as the most iconic Devil May Cry characters, the recent Cyberpunk 2077 collaboration demonstrated a willingness to surprise fans. The inclusion of Female V, unexpected by many, highlights Fortnite's tendency to offer both male and female options in crossovers, a pattern supported by past Capcom collaborations. This suggests characters like Lady, Trish, Nico, Nero (Devil May Cry 4), or V (Devil May Cry 5) could also appear.

The renewed attention on this leak has fans eagerly anticipating further details.
