With Natlan's storyline nearing completion, development has shifted focus to Snezhnaya, the Cryo Nation ruled by the Tsaritsa. Snezhnaya's immense size, exceeding even Sumeru and Liyue, necessitates a regional division, with expansion planned across multiple updates.

Initial leaks hinted at Nod-Krai as a separate region in Version 6.0. However, recent datamining confirms its placement as an autonomous province within Snezhnaya, acting as a crucial trade hub connecting the nation to the rest of Teyvat. Liben's statements place Nod-Krai in Snezhnaya's southernmost area, suggesting access via Fontaine or Natlan.

Leakflow, Extra, and footage from The_Strifemaster reveal a placeholder landmass in the Version 5.4 beta, situated beneath Fontaine's western waterfalls. This landmass intriguingly connects to Mont Esus, a previously rumored Fontaine expansion. While not confirming Mont Esus's release timeframe, this connection strongly suggests a path leading to Nasha Town and Nod-Krai.
