How To Beat The Lord Of Eroded Primal Fire In Genshin Impact
As the Natlan Archon Quest in Genshin Impact nears its conclusion, the game continues to evolve with new lore and challenging combat scenarios. Each nation in Genshin Impact introduces two weekly bosses, and the Lord of Eroded Primal Fire stands out as one of the most formidable adversaries players will face. This colossal dragon, wielding dual swords and embodying the ancient ruler of Natlan, brings a new level of difficulty to the game, especially with mechanics reminiscent of the Riftwolves' Corrosion effect from Inazuma. Here's a comprehensive guide on how to locate and conquer the Lord of Eroded Primal Fire.
Where To Find The Lord Of Eroded Primal Fire In Genshin Impact
The Lord of Eroded Primal Fire resides within the Stone Stele Records domain, located just south of the Statue of Seven near the Masters of the Night-Wind tribe. This domain is a shrine commemorating those lost in the Natlan battle. Players can enter this domain and claim rewards using 30 Original Resin for the first three weekly boss fights. To unlock access to this boss, players must complete the final chapter of the Archon Quest: "When All Becomes A Monument." Alternatively, players can bypass the story requirement and enter the domain via the Quick Challenge option in the Adventurer’s Handbook.
How To Beat The Lord Of Eroded Primal Fire In Genshin Impact
Defeating the Lord of Eroded Prial Fire is significantly easier with regional characters from Natlan, such as Mavuika, Kinich, Citlali, and Mualani. The dragon, though often stationary, will summon three Pillars and Tenebrous Mimiflora during the fight, which can be more efficiently defeated using characters with Nightsoul Blessings.
Make Sure To Destroy The Three Pillars With Nightsoul Blessing
While other characters can be used to destroy the summoned Pillars, using Natlan characters like Mavuika, Citlali, Kinich, or Kachina will significantly reduce the time needed to break the shields. This allows players to quickly halt the Dragon's Eroded Meteor strike, immobilizing it for about 10 seconds to deal damage. If the Pillars aren't destroyed fast enough, the meteor attack will commence. Equip a shield and switch to a healer like Furina, Kokomi, Kuki, Barbara, or Bennett to mitigate the Corrosion damage that can penetrate even through shields.
Try Your Best To Dodge Or Stay Underneath The Dragon
Dodging the Dragon's unpredictable attacks can be challenging, especially when it turns into smoke and moves around the arena. Its sword slashes and smashes reduce the available battlefield, making navigation and evasion harder. Staying close to the Dragon and attacking from underneath can be effective, but constant healing is essential due to the Corrosion effect from its Eroded Dragon Breath attack. When the Dragon impales its swords into the ground, causing Pyro and Erosion damage, ensure you're heavily shielded and healed. If overwhelmed, move away from the attack area near its hands, where the Dragon Breath doesn't reach.
Co-Op Mode and Matching
For those without Natlan characters, Co-Op Mode is a viable option. Teaming up with players who have Nightsoul Blessing characters can make the Pillar phase more manageable. Simply enter the domain, click the 'Match' button, and join another player's world to tackle the boss more easily. Fortunately, this fight lacks multiple phases, but it still requires a significant time investment to complete.
