One More Level, the creative force behind the acclaimed Ghostrunner series, has once again captured the attention of the gaming community. Known for their brutal action games set in a cyberpunk universe, Ghostrunner has become a benchmark for games that demand precision, agility, and strategic planning. In Ghostrunner, both the protagonist and most enemies are dispatched with a single blow, making every move critical. The series has been met with widespread acclaim, with the first game earning average scores of 81% and 79%, and its sequel not far behind at 80% and 76%.
Today, One More Level teased fans with a brand-new image, hinting at their upcoming projects. The studio is currently developing two intriguing titles: Cyber Slash and Projekt Swift. The image released today is believed to be connected to Cyber Slash, as Projekt Swift is slated for a later release in 2028.

Cyber Slash promises to transport players to the early 19th century, offering a dark and epic reimagining of the Napoleonic era. This alternate history will see legendary heroes battling against mysterious forces and confronting terrifying threats. The gameplay is set to be challenging and action-packed, diverging from the traditional Souls-like formula. While parrying and targeting weak points will remain key mechanics, the protagonist will undergo mutations throughout the game, adding a unique twist to the character's evolution.
