As stated in their latest Twitter (X) post, Hades 2 has been in early access since May 6, 2024. Developer Supergiant celebrated this milestone by expressing gratitude to fans for their support and indicating progress towards the game's full release.

Their post reads, "It's been incredibly exciting and eye-opening as we've worked to realize the potential so many of you see in our game. Thank you for all your feedback and patience as we get closer to the finish line!"

The predecessor, Hades, followed a similar path, spending 22 months in early access before its full release. However, Supergiant aims to bring Hades 2 to full release more swiftly, starting with a time-exclusive launch on the Nintendo Switch 2.
