Six Invitational 2025 Format
The format remains unchanged from 2024, but for those new to the event, let's break it down. The tournament consists of two phases: the group stage and a double-elimination playoff.
During the group stage, teams are divided into four groups and compete in a round-robin format. Every match is crucial, not just for survival but also for securing a better seeding in the playoffs.
- The top four teams from each group advance directly to the upper bracket of the playoffs, skipping the first round and securing at least a 9th-12th place finish.
- Teams finishing second and third in their groups also enter the upper bracket but start from the first round, with the advantage of surviving one loss.
- Teams that come in fourth in their groups start in the lower bracket, where every match is a must-win to stay in the tournament.
- Teams finishing fifth are eliminated from the competition.
