The story kicks off with Darkseid making a daring leap from the DC Universe into the Sonic universe, drawn by an immense power he aims to seize. To thwart this ultimate evil from conquering a new dimension, the Justice League and Team Sonic must unite their forces.

This crossover is part of a broader collaboration between Warner Bros. and Sega, which includes a range of exclusive toys and collectibles available at Target. The initial offerings feature a line of T-shirts and hoodies showcasing Shadow the Hedgehog styled as Batman.
