在近日结束的Jump Festa 2025上，Akatsuki Games公布了其即将推出的《怪兽8号》主题游戏——暂定名为《怪兽8号：游戏》（名称可能会有所变更）——的全新视觉素材。主视觉图以红色背景为基调，中央是标题角色“怪兽8号”，游戏标题则位于背景。此外，还公开了五张游戏内截图，分别展现了该系列的五位主要角色：怪兽8号、市川廉、筱宫雾子、芦户美奈和星野壮士郎。
这款游戏于六个月前的六月正式公布，当时通过预告片首次亮相。暂定名为《怪兽8号：游戏》，预计将通过Steam在PC平台发行，并登陆Android和iOS平台，采用免费游玩模式，并提供可选的微交易。然而，目前游戏仅限日本地区游玩，尚未公布是否会在全球范围内发行。具体的发布日期也尚未公开。
