The creators of Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 are actively engaging with the community by showcasing various facets of the game, this time focusing on village activities. Warhorse Studios has revealed that the protagonist, Indřich (Henry), will participate in diverse tasks such as drinking, herding sheep, shooting with a crossbow and bow, praying, hunting, and resolving local issues, including finding antidotes for the injured. These activities promise to enrich the immersive experience of the game, scheduled for release on February 4, 2025.
However, the game has not been without controversy. Following the discovery of several subpoenas related to Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2, activists have attempted to cancel the project. Notable figures such as Grummz and other campaigners with specific agendas have recently thrust the game into the spotlight. The controversy intensified when news of a ban in Saudi Arabia led to rumors about the inclusion of certain content and "progressive" concepts within the game. This sparked a wave of criticism on social media, with users attacking the developers and attempting to dissuade support for the game.
In response to these rumors, Tobias Stolz-Zwilling, the public relations manager at Warhorse Studios, has urged the public to trust the developers and to be cautious about believing everything they read online.
