In an interview with 4Gamer, Okamura stated, "We are putting a lot of effort into finishing Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater by 2025." He revealed that the game is already playable from start to finish, and the team is now focusing on refining the details and elevating the overall quality.
Originally, there were speculations from PlayStation that the game might launch in 2024, but those plans did not materialize. Studio representatives and insiders have now confirmed that the release is targeted for next year. Fans can look forward to playing the remake on PS5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC.
The remake aims to stay true to the original Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater while integrating modern gameplay mechanics and enhanced graphics. Okamura has assured fans that alongside visual upgrades, new features will be introduced to enhance the gaming experience.
Towards the end of September, Konami released a trailer for Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater. The over two-minute video showcases several intense scenes, including the main character, antagonists, an airdrop, and a thrilling shootout.
