Approach cautiously and take your time to complete the drawing.

Legendary Grey Heron – Winter, Daytime

The Grey Heron awaits in the Wakasa region, near Lake Suigetsu, during winter and daytime. Navigate to the cluster of islands west of Lake Suigetsu. Approach the area on foot to avoid startling the heron. Once you reach the marked location, crouch and slowly move closer to capture the Sumi-E.

Legendary Macaque – All Seasons, Nighttime

For the Legendary Macaque Sumi-E, journey to the Yamashiro region and locate the Little Leaf Glade sub-region. Find the Sarumaru Shrine near the mountains. Wait until nightfall and ascend the stairs to the top, where you'll find the three wise monkeys. Capture them in your Sumi-E painting.

Legendary Silver Fox – Autumn, Nighttime

The Legendary Silver Fox Sumi-E can be found at night during autumn in the Kii region, specifically at the Nakahechi Route sub-region. Head to the Kamimisu Inari Shrine, surrounded by fox statues. Approach the cliff's edge to find the fox and capture your painting.

Legendary Deer – Spring, Nighttime

To capture the Legendary Deer Sumi-E, visit the Yamato region and head to the Yoshino sub-region. The nearest fast-travel point is the Mountain Blossom Temple to the west. Follow the path eastward to reach the Sakura Meadows. Ascend the slopes to a clearing where you'll find the deer and complete your painting.
