Get ready for the next chapter in Marvel Rivals! Season 1, titled "Eternal Night Falls," arrives January 10th at 1 AM PST, bringing with it three months of exciting new content.

Key Highlights:

  • Fantastic Four Arrival: Mister Fantastic (Duelist) and Invisible Woman (Strategist) debut, with The Thing and Human Torch joining the roster six to seven weeks later.
  • New Battle Pass: Unlock 10 brand-new skins and earn back 600 Lattice and 600 Units upon completion. The pass costs 990 Lattice.
  • Doom Match Game Mode: Experience a thrilling 8-12 player arcade-style battle across new maps. The top 50% emerge victorious.
  • Three New Maps: Explore the Empire of the Eternal Night: Sanctum Sanctorum (used in Doom Match), Midtown (for convoy missions), and Central Park (arriving mid-season).

NetEase Games' developer blog detailed these additions, emphasizing community feedback and upcoming balance adjustments, particularly addressing concerns about ranged character dominance. The Baxter Building will also feature prominently in the new maps. While rumors of a PvE mode circulate, the developers haven't yet commented.
