Marvel Rivals: Understanding Bussing and Catching It

Author : Lucy Update:Apr 14,2025

As much as we enjoy playing *Marvel Rivals*, there are individuals who exploit the game's mechanics. That's why NetEase Games has provided players with the ability to report suspicious behavior. Recently, a new term, "Bussing," has been added to the reporting options, which might be causing some confusion. Let's break down what "Bussing" means in *Marvel Rivals* and how you can identify it.

What Is Bussing in Marvel Rivals?

When reporting a player in *Marvel Rivals*, you'll find a variety of options, including "Throwing," "Griefing," and now, "Bussing." Contrary to what you might think, "Bussing" isn't about someone eating on the microphone. Instead, it describes players who intentionally team up with cheaters to boost their own stats and rankings.

This clarification came from *Marvel Rivals* themselves after a player, Kaimega13, shared their response on Reddit (via Dexerto). The statement reads, "'Bussing' typically refers to players intentionally teaming up with cheaters to boost their game rankings. If you notice any related anomalies, you can report the player by selecting the option." Understanding what to look for is crucial for reporting Bussing accurately.

How To Catch Bussing in Marvel Rivals

Identifying a team of cheaters in *Marvel Rivals* can be relatively straightforward. By reviewing a few killcams, you might notice something off about the opposing team. Their shots could be suspiciously accurate, or their movements might seem unnatural. Once you suspect foul play, you can report them. However, not all team members may be involved in cheating.

To effectively catch Bussing, you might need to stay in the match longer than usual to observe the enemy team's behavior. Look for players who aren't exploiting the system; they might just be along for the ride. However, it's also possible they've been unwittingly placed on a team with cheaters. Don't rush to report everyone for Bussing. Take your time, and use in-game chat to gather more information about the other team.
